3 Sci-Fi Films I loved!

I am personally not a Science Fiction film fan, I am just plain and simply a FILM FAN! If it's good, with a point to it, no matter what genre, then I'm a fan!

Especially with these three films which are Sci-Fi's (well one is a series of films!):

The Star Wars films!

One of the best series of films ever made. The whole journey, the lessons, the imagination! An amazingly captivating story that, even though it's science fiction, is relatable to every single one of us!

I did of course prefer the original trilogy but the prequel trilogy was just finished off with such grandeur with the third episode: Revenge Of The Sith!

Alien!

I'm a huge fan of Ridley Scott and think that his 'The Duelists' was one of the best films ever made. But as for Alien what a great Sci-Fi. For someone who is not quite into Horror Sci-Fi this was just spectacular. An amazingly written script and a constantly entertaining film.

Favourite part of the film is the one crew members repetitive comment of, "I think we should freeze him" ... "Why don't we just freeze him" ... "I still think we should freeze him". Probably would of saved them too!

And then there is...

Blade Runner!

A film which came close to boring me through the second act but just came together in such an amazing way in the final act that I can't begin to describe the satisfaction I felt after finishing watching this film.

The White dove, the leap, the short speech by Rutger Hauer's replicant Roy Batty... "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. Time to die."

This film had so many different levels and is still debated today!

Was Harrison Ford's character a replicant himself? Hmmm...

The glitter in the eye...
