Share Your SF Movie Reviews!

Best SF movie reviews are those filled with love and enthusiasm for the genre, which also makes them the most enjoyable to read. It goes without saying that they are penned by SF movie fans. For who but a fan can show enough appreciation and love for science fiction movies.

Just think about it, any number of professional movie critics can take a movie apart, or spill buckets of ink lecturing why such-and-such plot device can't work, but it takes just one fan to make it all come together.

Movies have distinct voices; sometimes they speak in such soft voices that not many can hear them, and no two people can experience them in exactly the same way.

Movies also grow with the viewer as they reveal new meanings and details with every new watching.

They are also like landscapes. Sometimes you need to see the Grand Canyon to experience a breath-taking vision of beauty, and sometimes you feel compelled to return to a quiet spot in the local park over and over again, looking for a particular quality of light or rustling of leaves.

So this invitation goes to all of you dear SF movie explorers.

We have just one tiny request: movie review has to be original, yours and not yet published on the web (sorry, not even on your blog).

"I am trying to find a TV movie I saw in 1963 -- was a late 50's or very early 60's sci-fi in which Madagascar fish protoplasm is brought to the U.S., escapes and becomes a huge blob that strangles people (and maybe eats them). This is not 'The Blob' with Steve McQueen. Could be Twilight Zone or Outer Limits?"
